Jerry Spinks Luminaria Memorial
The Rotary Club of West Jacksonville partnered with Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP) to partner on a memorial to Jerry Spinks during Riverside Avondale’s Luminaria event, Sunday, December 18th.
Jerry was a driving force behind this annual event since its inception in 1984. A luminary display in the shape of a bowtie with the initials JS was created in Boone Park to remember Jerry.
Thanks to all of the West Jax Rotarians who contributed to make this memorial possible. A special thank you to Michael Corrigan, Jr. who helped set up the display on Sunday afternoon.
