Newborn literacy - Literacy kits continue to be distributed to parents of newborns in Baker County as a result of a District Simplified Grant received in 2007. By providing the kits to Baker County, we are expanding the reach of Jacksonville Mayor Peyton’s program into a traditionally underserved rural area.

Dictionary Project - For the second year in a row, the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville purchased 1,800 dictionaries to distribute to 3rd grade students at 8 local elementary schools. The books are hand delivered to the students by Rotarians, and a short presentation of the Four Way Test is given to each class.
